We like to party. We like, we like to party!

If you've been following our blog for even a half a second now, you know that this is true. We like to party. Luckily, so do our friends. And what better cause for a party, than first birthdays?!

When we got home from vacation, we went straight to Kai's first birthday party from the airport. Well, first we stopped at home to let Norah out, but then we did not pass go, did not collect 200 dollars and hauled it straight there. Marin didn't even get out of her car seat. It will be a good story for their rehearsal dinner. :)

We wouldn't have missed such a great celebration of our mister Kai turning one. Wow, that was a quick year. There was lots of great food and drink and great company, as always. Erica made Kai a giant cupcake cake that I don't have a single photo of, because I was taking video for Erica and Craig. But I do have a photo of Marin enjoying one of the 90 individual cupcakes that Erica made for everyone else. Delic.


The next day was CJ's adorable turtle themed first birthday party. Another celebration overflowing with delicious details, including a turtle sandbox turned beverage cooler.

CJ didn't waste anytime starting in on his smash cake, and it wasn't long until we all had green teeth to match. Yummy!

We had a great time catching up with friends and party party partying the weekend away. What a great curb for the post vacation blues!

Happy, happy, happy birthday to Kai and CJ! Marin's a lucky gal to have you as her friends.
