Emilie is 3!

Emilie is three.  Wasn't she just born?  Tiny and purple and wrinkly?
She is hilarious at 3.  She's so proud to be 3.  She proudly announced to Jason's Aunt the other day at dinner, "Guess what?!  I'm 3!!  I'm not 2 anymore!!!"  She's fiery and extremely verbal and smart as a whip and does not miss a beat.  She's fiercely loyal to her sister and is John's very best friend.  She's sweet and cuddly and speaks her mind.  Do not wake this one up from a nap.  Hell hath no fury.

Wednesday morning she woke up to sprinkle donuts for breakfast and brought cookies to all of her friends at school.  We had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa on her birthday night.  As is tradition on your birthday in our house, the birthday girl chose the menu- mac and cheese and broccoli.  Grandma and Grandpa got her a new purple scooter, which she loves.

She had a pancakes and pi's party on Saturday morning.  We had great fun!  We decorated pancakes with strawberries, bananas, chocolate chips, sprinkles and syrup.  We made fruit loop necklaces, we played hot pancake (like hot potato) and pancake toss.  We had a panCAKE and sang happy birthday and all the kids wore their favorite pjs.

Saturday afternoon was Marin's dance recital and after that we had a family birthday party back at our house with GG, OG, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Vee, Uncle Bob, Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Jake, Aunt Katy and baby Parker.

The girl can party.
